November is National Native American Heritage Month in the United States, the perfect occasion to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native tribes and our Northwest Native Americans.* 1997/98 Award Winner, Library of Congress/Ameritech Digital Library Competition as part of the American Memory Historical Collections at the Library of Congress.
