Valentina also thinks a bit highly of herself, believing herself to be beautiful beyond compare, as well as a refined "art buff". Despite the blatant disrespect she shows toward her underlings (especially towards Dodo), as well as the apparent hatred they have toward her (as shown in Birdy's Psychopath), they still remain loyal to her regardless. Valentina has been shown to be quite an extremely bossy and domineering person who seems to treat her henchmen and just about everyone else around her with as little respect as possible. In the pre-credits sequence, they appear to get married in Marrymore, though Booster seems to change his mind and flee at the last second. Valentina thought it was a sweet thing to say and gets closer to Booster. At first she refuses, but then she changes her mind when one of the Snifits whispers to her what Booster said.

If one was to go back to Booster's Tower on the balcony, Booster is shown proposing to Valentina. With Valentina out of the way, Mario and his allies were able to release Mallow's parents out of captivity, and they reclaimed their right to rule Nimbus Land. Mario defeated Valentina, who flees from Nimbus Land. After a short chase, Mario and his allies caught up with Valentina and battled. Mario managed to enter the Nimbus Castle in the guise of a statue, then managed to find Valentina. She imprisoned the true king of Nimbus inside the palace, and told the citizens that he was very ill. Valentina took control of the Nimbus Land region by forcing her minion, Dodo, to impersonate the land's true prince, Mallow. Thunderbolts, however, may be the best new cross-over MCU film we'll get for a while, and I'm really excited to see these misfits in action.Valentina wears a white dress, has what appears to be a parrot on top of her head in place of hair, and is always seen carrying a martini glass.

#VALENTINA MARVEL FULL#
Honestly, folks, we got a lot of Marvel stuff today, but it was all stuff we knew about in full detail ( Secret Invasion) or curiosities that don't do enough for me (Werewolf by Night). Thunderbolts could show off the uglier side of surviving in this current world. Either they're being blackmailed or (as seen by Yelena's interactions with her new boss) getting paid well for it.Īs the MCU has shown in such projects as The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and She-Hulk, the question of "how do these people make a living to support themselves?" is never quite answered.

This is likely being done on one of a few conditions. Allegra de Fontaine, has recruited all of them to do some dirty work. The Thunderbolts cast (save for don't-call-her-Val) is a group of mixed-up folks who can do some damage.
#VALENTINA MARVEL MOVIE#
Right now, I'll go back to talking about The Suicide Squad, because that feels like the best movie to examine for figuring Thunderbolts out. Of course, I am thinking all of this because I've seen both Black Widow and Falcon & The Winter Soldier, MCU projects that even I'm not 100% behind. Off the cast alone, I get the feeling this movie is going to be amazing. Consider this Marvel's The Suicide Squad. It feels like they found another way to do the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy movies, where a collection of misfits have to work together. He will also play that character in Captain America 4: New World Order Then, Harrison Ford was announced (opens in new tab) to be joining the MCU as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, filling the role left behind by the late William Hurt. I'll admit that Ghost isn't the most exciting character, but when you have all of the above - with Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine trying to make them all coexist? Yes, we're getting a movie where Yelena and her adoptive dad Alexei are back, and if that's not enough, Bucky and John Walker have to work together. The art also showed Taskmaster, but Marvel's post didn't mention if Olga Kurylenko will be reprising that role or not.
